Paper Cut Out Style

Specialist Practise

I was looking for a style to make the creative outcome stand out to millennials, a style that would combine the traditional with contemporary. I used Pinterest to help generate ideas for this and discovered the paper cut out style. This style takes paper and constructs it in layers, creating compositions that are built up because of this. When this style is taken away from paper its self and created digitally, it becomes current in its production, therefore contemporary. Being part of the target demographic myself I feel this style would make it possible to draw in consumers, especially with an added dose of humour.
